The ABC’s of Death

Greetings fellow horror hounds! FYF Josh here bringing you a film set to be released later this year. The title of the film is “The ABC’s of Death”. This movie will be comprised of 26 horror shorts, each one being directed by a different notable horror director. All 26 directors were given a single letter of the alphabet and then given the opportunity to create their own unique tale of death. The stellar list is comprised of some of the most innovative and line crossing directors in the horror industry. Some of the more notable films on their resume include: May, Amer, Hobo with a Shotgun, The Divide, Frontier(s), The Machine Girl, Mutant Girl Squad, Tokyo Gore Police, Deadgirl, A Serbian Film, The Reef, Timecrimes, Doghouse, The Innkeepers, The House of the Devil and Meatball Machine. Lucky for us horror fans, that’s just the tip of the iceberg in the repertoire of films compiled by this allstar list of directors. This film could either be the perfect storm, or potentially one of the top horror films of 2012. Given the credentials, I’ll have to expect the latter of the two possibilities. Look at it this way, if you don’t like one of the shorts, sit tight, there are 25 other directors that have been given the opportunity to wow you. Give the trailer a watch, see what you think.

Two questions.

I am pretty certain it is not out yet. I scoped their website and it seems they just ended a competition for the letter “T.” I liked it on Facebook so I can keep up to date.

You probably read this but it’s cool the way they picked the 26th director. They pretty much held a competition fot the 26th letter. The winner was a claymation short called “T is for Toilet”. I literally see no way this film cant be a winner.
